Melanin Glo was created because, almost all of the so called moisturizers and so called natural hair care products were either watered down or contained ingredients that actually strip your hair down to make it dependent on their product. Melanin Glo enriches your skin and strengthens your hair.

Store in cool place. Use on small area to check sensitivity to skin. Contains approximately 8oz of cream. Product is creamy oil and will stretch when warmed. A little goes a long ways since our product is not watered down. For best results use on wet or damp skin and hair. The scent is minty and strong. The smell is a bit overpowering, but the product really works. Do not swallow or put in eyes; if in eyes, rinse thoughrouly. Even though our product is made of all oils and natural raw butters, it is not meant to be ingested.

On Skin: Put desired amount on skin after it has been cleaned and still moist (preferably after bathing) for best results. 

On Natural Hair: Soften you hair with water and detangle. Afterwards, pull your hair in different sections and put some of Melanin Glo in the palm of your hand and rub together to heat up oils. Then apply to scalp and hair as desired and style.

On Locs: Moisten locs with warm water so that hair will be willing to absorb the oils deep within. Apply to scalp and each loc; you may even like Melanin Glo as a twisting oil. Melanin Glo will definitely help if you are having a problem with your locs looking dull.

On Beards: Clean beard and while beard is still moist, place a small amount of Melanin Glo in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together until cream looks oily, then rub Melanin Glo through your beard.

On Relaxed & Pressed Hair: Place small amount in the palm of you hand and pub together until cream has spread into oil and apply to scalp and hair. (You may also want to use as hot oil treatment. (See below))

To use as hot oil treatment: Depending of hair length, use one to two tablespoons and place in jar or plastic bag. Then warm Melanin Glo by placing the tablespoon or more filled bag or jar in warm water. While waiting for Melanin Glo to warm up, make sure you have washed out all shampoo and conditioners from your head. After Melanin Glo is liquefied and warm, cover your scalp and hair evenly. You may cover your head in a plastic shower cap or even plastic wrap for at least 15 minutes (30 for best results) or sit under a dryer with plastic cap on for 10-20 minutes; when finished rinse your hair and do your hair as usual.
